Oscar Peterson was a Canadian jazz pianist, composer, and education who is considered one of the greatest jazz pianists of all the time. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, on August 15, 1925. He was raised in the poor St. Henri neighbourhood of Montreal, also known as Little Burgundy.
